Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Classical Music - Sunday 28 December 9pm

Every week Catherine Bott answers the questions you want to know the answers to. Tonight, she picks her favourites from the past 12 months.

In her final show of the year, Catherine Bott looks back at some of the most fascinating questions that she addressed on the show during 2014.

These include: “What does a conductor actually do?” “Is the guitar a serious classical instrument?” and “was the child Mozart really the genius he's made out to be?”

Catherine also looks back on the 300th anniversary of the birth of C.P.E. Bach by asking, "Was he the most influential of the Bachs?"

And she'll be explaining the connection between the photograph on this page and a special composer who was remembered during the year.
