This Sunday David dedicates two hours to a recently released box set of EMI Eminence recordings from the 1980s and 1990s. The EMI record label was founded in 1931 and for over 80 years it has brought us some of the finest classical performances. 

So many great recordings over the years. There's Jacqueline Du Pre's intensely emotional Elgar Concerto, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf's timeless Four Last Songs, epic Mahler from Simon Rattle and a host of recent stunners.
