David celebrates the arrival of spring, in music.

Spring is in the air this evening, as David Mellor presents a programme of music perfect for the changing season.

He’ll be featuring some favourite pieces not only to suit the longer evenings, but for Easter time, too, including Bach’s Easter Oratorio, Schumann’s Symphony No.1 (‘Spring’), Sinding’s Rustle of Spring, Mascagni’s Easter Hymn and a waltz from Strauss.
