Television's Greatest Hits
This week, Howard Goodall swaps the silver screen for the small screen with some great original music written for television.
This week, Howard Goodall switches on the television and celebrates some of the great music written for programmes across the decades.
First up, Howard looks at great period dramas - ranging from Downton Abbey (pictured) to The White Queen, via Brideshead Revisited and Foyle's War.
Some great moments from Dr. Who follow with music from three classic stories - Terror of the Zygons (1975), The End of the World (2005) and The Angels Take Manhattan (2012).
There's also a look at crime shows - from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy to Broadchurch - and some new releases including Game of Thrones, Vikings 2 and House of Cards 2.
Howard cheekily also features two of his own best compositions for TV - music from Red Dwarf and The Vicar of Dibley.
