Saturday Night at the Movies: Saturday 10 August 2013

This week, Howard Goodall explores the Best of British, with fine film soundtracks from these shores.

From blockbusters such as John Barry’s Out of Africa to Debbie Wiseman’s music for the Stephen Fry film Wilde, Howard Goodall surveys an impressive range of movie music by British composers.

He'll also showcase one of the first British film scores by William Walton, Richard Addinsell’s famous Warsaw Concerto from the movie Dangerous Moonlight, and a selection of soundtracks by great British composers including George Fenton, Nigel Hess and Michael Nyman.
