This week Andrew Collins is dedicating his show to a film genre that may not have had the best of press over the years – disaster movies!

It's a genre to which Andrew is particularly partial. He even made 1970s disaster movies his specialist subject when he appeared on Celebrity Mastermind. He came second and scored a respectable eight although he was kicking himself for saying The Towering Inferno to a question the  answer to which was The Poseidon Adventure, his favourite film of all time.

Tonight, he'll be digging out some of his favourites from across the decades, including indeed John Williams's score for The Towering Inferno, James Horner’s Deep Impact and Clint Mansell's music for the recently released, Noah starring Russell Crowe.
