A Night at the Movies ousts The Lost Songs of St Kilda from the top spot.
After three weeks anchored at No.1, The Lost Songs of St Kilda has drifted out to No.4 to be replaced by Classic FM's new release, A Night at the Movies. This three album box-set features the music of 50 of the best-loved movies of all time, from stone-cold classics such as Barber's Adagio for Strings, which was used in Platoon, to more recent favourites such as Inception.
The second highest new entry comes from pianist Angela Hewitt with her brilliant new recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations. And a former Classic FM Drive Discovery, Dance by Oliver Davis is a new entry at 19, featuring the violinist Kerenza Peacock.
