The power of the Force sweeps through the Chart and dethrones Aled Jones from the top spot.
There's been a rebellion of galactic magnitude at the top of the Classic FM Chart. John Williams's Original Soundtrack for the first Star Wars film has zoomed straight to the top of the Chart, ousting Aled Jones's reign.
Elsewhere, there's a new entry at No.13 for the late Nikolaus Harnoncourt's swansong recording, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis. When Harnoncourt retired from the stage in December last year, it was his express wish to release the broadcast recording of his last project as his personal legacy. The concerts at the Styriarte Festival Graz and the Salzburg Festival in summer 2015 were his last public performances.
