Classic FM’s charity Global’s Make Some Noise is proud to support Stick ‘n’ Step.
Stick ‘n’ Step is a small charity that supports children and young people with cerebral palsy, and their families across the North West.
Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects muscle control and movement and is usually caused by an injury to the brain before, during, or after birth.
The charity runs a series of activities including movement exercises, that are designed to help each child reach their full potential in terms of confidence, mobility and functional independence.
Global’s Make Some Noise is proud to support two roles at the charity – an Early Years Teacher and a Classroom Assistant – to deliver conductive education sessions for children and young people with cerebral palsy.
Conductive education consists of structured play that’s designed to allow children with cerebral palsy to learn a wide range of skills and do more things for themselves.
Children whose parents were told their child would never walk, can go on to take their first independent steps through these sessions. And parents whose children were told their child would never talk, have said their first words at Stick ‘n’ Step.
With your help, we can support Stick ‘n’ Step and many more charities helping to change young lives across the UK.
