6. Beethoven
This week saw a "lost" Beethoven piece being performed for the first time in 200 years, or possibly ever. The slow movement of Beethoven's Quartet in G, Op 18 no 2 was reconstructed from a series of fragmentary sketches by Barry Cooper, professor of music at the University of Manchester.
