Love all: Wimbledon themed dates

June is all about Wimbledon and perfect for being outdoors. We’ve combined the two for some brilliant dating ideas.

Queue up for a ticket

Wimbledon is the only Grand Slam tournament where fans without tickets on the day can queue up and still get seats. You’ll have to be pretty keen on your date as you’ll probably have to queue overnight, but you’ll have plenty of opportunity for getting-to-know-you chat, followed by a day of world class tennis.

Henman Hill

If queuing all night for a ticket is a bit much why not take your date for a picnic on Henman Hill? You can see the match and soak up the atmosphere and still get a good night’s sleep. Suggested picnic: smoked salmon sandwiches, strawberries and cream, lemon barley water and champagne.

Play a match

If you and your date are active types, why not go and play a match? Even if you’re not Venus Williams or Roger Federer, you can still knock the ball about the court and have a good time. Doing an activity together on a first date is a brilliant ice-breaker and you’re guaranteed some laughs.
