She's one of the foremost violinists of her generation, and Lisa Batiashvili is making her Bristol Proms debut at the Old Vic theatre.

It's time to get up close and personal with Bach. Lisa Batiashvili's new album highlights the great composer's violin works, but never before will concert-goers have seen his music in this much detail.

Stradivarius-owner Batiashvili has been at the cutting edge of her profession for nearly 20 years, winning competition after competition and touring the world. She's also the New York Philharmonic's Artist In Residence for their 2014 and 2015 season, so to have her nip across to Bristol for this concert is a coup indeed.
