We all know about the restorative, relaxing and transporting qualities of music. When you’re stressed, the right symphony or sonata can be like a deep cleanse for both body and mind.
However, there’s a place that takes this to the next level, combining the finest classical music with a luxury spa and wellness retreat.
Schloss Elmau is a spa sanctuary in the calm of the Bavarian Alps surrounded by rushing streams and crystal clear lakes. It also has a concert hall with one of the finest acoustics in Europe. Throughout the year it sees performances from the likes of Gautier Capuçon, Ray Chen, Martha Argerich and Yuja Wang.

In November each year, as snow falls on the alps, Schloss Elmau hosts a chamber music festival with Verbier Festival.
2023 brings more musical highlights, including performances from Sheku Kanneh-Mason, a Lieder festival showcasing some of the finest singers of our time, and chilled jazz performances that sit effortlessly in the amazing concert hall acoustic.
