Beethoven mash-up girl

Take two of the greatest pieces ever written, mash them up into one clip, and you get this epic rollover Beethoven-a-thon.

“What cooks in the kitchen of a pianist?” this musician asked. A thing of beauty and marvel, it turns out.

Turkish pianist Ayşedeniz Gökçin has taken the final movement to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata and mashed it together with his Symphony No. 5 in C minor.

“But no one should EVER mess with the perfect balance and musical mastery of Beethoven!” we hear you cry. Just give it a watch, and trust us: it will make you love LVB even more.

We love what this pianist is doing for the world of classical music. As she says herself in her Instagram bio, she is “uniting classical and non-classical audiences.” And she is doing so startlingly well.
