Rieu's tour waltzes to Australia and New Zealand in 2013

King of the Waltz André Rieu confirms plans to tour in Australia and New Zealand in October 2013.

André Rieu has announced further tour dates for next year, this time heading to Australia and New Zealand in October 2013. The charismatic violinist revealed the plans via a video message posted on the Herald Sun website.

In the video, Rieu comments: "I am excited to announce that I will come back to my second homeland in October 2013. I cannot wait to see you."

The Australia and New Zealand dates will be a continuation of Rieu's 'And The Waltz Goes On' tour, so-called after a waltz written specifically for him by the actor Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Rieu is currently gearing up for a series of UK dates in December, before jetting off to Europe again in early 2013. A cinema screening of his 'Home For Christmas' concert and a live Q&A (via satellite) is also due to take place across hundreds of screens on November 24th.
