Symphony No.5 in C minor Opus 67 Ludwig Van Beethoven
Win spending money and a trip to the capital to celebrate a fantastic 2012 with the RAF bands.
The RAF is offering audiences the chance to unfurl their Union flags once more and enjoy an evening of unbridled patriotic pride to mark an incredible year that has seen the ‘Great’ put firmly back into ‘Britain’.
The Royal Air Force in Concert will take its rousing Diamond Jubilee tour, held in support of the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, around the country and each concert will feature at least one of the main RAF Bands. Also performing will be the RAF’s Salon Orchestra and popular soloist Flight Lieutenant Matthew Little.
The programme - a stirring mix of classical, military and popular pieces - will feature perennial favourites such as the Dambusters March and Jerusalem alongside new compositions written to capture the spirit of this extraordinary year.
All performances start at 7.30pm and tickets are available direct from venue box offices at £16, £19 and £22 (London: £20, £25 and £30). For more details visit www.rafinconcert.com.
