Win an unmissable opera experience at Garsington, with a luxury overnight stay at Hartwell House

This June, we’ve teamed up with Garsington Opera and Hartwell House – a Pride of Britain Hotel member – to give you the chance to win a glorious day at the opera, complete with a luxury stay.
Garsington Opera presents four productions of great artistic quality during a six-week summer period each June and July in a setting of outstanding beauty. Performances take place in the spectacular Opera Pavilion at Wormsley, home of the Getty family, within the rolling landscape of the Chiltern Hills.
The winner will receive two tickets to Garsington’s production of Rossini’s Il turco in Italia on Thursday 13 July, in a return of director Martin Duncan’s joyous 2011 production, conducted by Rossini expert David Parry. With a glittering musical score and wittily observed characters, this complex and subtle farce tells a tale of unrequited love and confused identities. A prosecco picnic will be generously provided by Hartwell House to enjoy in Garsington’s beautiful grounds before the performance.
Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a luxury stay in nearby Hartwell House, a beautifully restored 17th century stately home in a glorious setting of over 90 acres of parkland. The National Trust Hotel has fine Georgian interiors which are reflected in the historic public rooms of the Great Hall, Morning Room, Drawing Room and Library. Full English breakfast, included in the prize, is taken in one of the three elegant Dining Rooms.
Staying in a luxurious Royal Four Poster double room, the winner will also enjoy full use of the luxurious Hartwell House Spa. The perfect way to unwind after a dramatic day at the opera!
