We're giving you the chance to see one of the world's greatest pianists perform two of Beethoven's piano concertos
In one of 2016/17’s classical highlights, world-leading pianist Murray Perahia celebrates the genius of Ludwig van Beethoven in Perahia Plays Beethoven, a four-concert series at London’s Barbican with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.
Over the course of the season, the acclaimed American applies his penetrating intellect and exquisite musicianship to Beethoven's much-loved Piano Concertos, playing and directing all five from the piano.
We’re giving you the chance to win two top-price tickets to the series-opening concert, on 21st November, where Perahia contrasts the Classical elegance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the dark, brooding drama of his Piano Concerto No. 3.
The prize also includes a stay in The Trafalgar Hotel, (pictured below) on Trafalgar Square on 21st November. Providing stylish tranquillity in the heart of the capital, the hotel’s well-appointed rooms offer all the high-end facilities you need for a truly memorable stay.
