Though not well known today, Federico Barocci was one of the most celebrated painters of the late Italian Renaissance. Fascinated by the human form, Barocci fused harmonious design with an unparalleled sensitivity to colour. He was born in Urbino, where he was based for most of his life.
Barocci: Brilliance and Grace showcases his stunning altarpieces, devotional paintings and insightful portraits. Displayed together with preparatory drawings and oil sketches, they reveal the fertility of his imagination, the diversity of his working methods and the sheer beauty and fascination of his art.
As well as tickets to the exhibition, this fantastic prize includes an overnight stay at 51 Buckingham Gate, Taj Suites and Residences. This luxurious five-star hotel features many signatures of excellence including butler service, an award-winning courtyard garden and an exclusive spa.
