Vaughan Williams, Holst, Parry, Elgar - in celebration of St George's Day, we're offering you the chance to choose your favourite piece of English music, and win 100 iTunes songs.
It's St George's Day on 23 April, celebrating the patron saint of England. We're not ones to pass up a celebration, so we're marking the occasion by highlighting some of the greatest musical works by the finest crop of composers from the green and pleasant land.
Perhaps you're a fan of Finzi, or passionate about Parry, but by voting for your favourite piece of English classical music, you'll be in with a chance of winning 100 songs on iTunes. Simply choose your favourite from the list below, and ten winners will be selected at random from the pool of entrants.
To make choosing easier, we've picked a shortlist of pieces by English composers from the 2013 Hall of Fame, and made a case as to why they should win in our gallery guide . You'll have a chance to hear some of your favourites in John Suchet's show on St George's Day itself, as he'll be revealing the piece with the most votes and playing a special selection of music in a 'Full English' version of the Hall of Fame Hour from 9am.
