South Western Railway Competition on Classic FM, May 2018.
RULES
1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at http://www.classicfm.com/terms-conditions/ (the “ Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions apply to ‘South Western Railway Competition’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from 21st May to 27th May 2018 on Classic FM (the “Radio Station”).
2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to http://www.classicfm.com and register their details, choose one of the five prize options available and answer one question.
4. Online entry will open at 00:01 on Monday 21st May 2018 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 27th May 2018.
5. One winner will be selected at random from all correct, eligible entries awarded their chosen prize.
6. The one winner will be contacted by Global within 7 days of the competition closing.
Eligibility:
7. All entrants must be 18 or over.
8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.
Prize:
9. There will be one winner will win their chosen prize from one of the following five options;
Option 1 - Bournemouth
a. Return South Western Train travel for two people to Bournemouth
b. Return private transfers from the station to the hotel
c. 2 nights accommodation at 4 star The Green House Hotel.
d. Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant
e. Champagne Cocktail Afternoon tea for two people at the Arbor restaurant. Includes:
10. A Champagne cocktail per person
11. Traditional fingers sandwiches, chefs fancies and warm handmade
scones
12. A selection a fresh teas and coffee
a. Dinner for two people at Arbor Restaurant
13. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two adults sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. Twin rooms
can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
14. Dinner is based on two adults enjoying a 3 course meal from the A la
Carte menu including 1⁄2 bottle of house wine, mineral water and coffee. Restaurant reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
15. Champagne Cocktail Afternoon tea for two people at the Arbor restaurant is subject to availability at the time of booking. Winner and guest must advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Option 2 - Winchester
16. Return South Western Train travel for two people to Winchester
17. Return private transfers from the station to the hotel
18. 2 nights accommodation at the 4 star Winchester Royal Hotel
19. Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant each morning
20. Champagne afternoon tea for two people
21. Includes:
22. A glass of champagne per person
23. A selection of cocktail sandwiches, freshly baked sultana scones and cake fingers, fruit cake and lemon drizzle sponge served with clotted
cream and strawberry jam
24. Brandy fruit macaroons, chocolate and marshmallow teacakes, fruit
tartlets and sultana flapjack
25. A selection of teas and coffee
a. Entrance for two people to Winchester Cathedral
b. £100.00 spending money
26. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two adults sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis.
27. Champagne afternoon tea for two people is subject to availability at the time of booking. Winner and guest should advise if they have any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Restaurant reservations are
subject to availability at the time of booking.
28. Tickets for two people to Winchester Cathedral are subject to
availability at the time of booking. Visiting times are from Monday – Saturday: 9.30am – 5.00pm and Sunday: 12.30pm – 3.00pm. The Cathedral may be closed due to special services and events, temporary closures or limited access are necessary. Winner and guests are advised to check before visiting.
Option 3 - Salisbury
a. Return South Western Train travel for two people to Salisbury
b. Return private transfers from the station to the hotel
c. 2 nights accommodation at the 4 star Milford Hall House and Spa
d. Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant
e. Full body massage at Lime Tree Spa for two people
f. £150.00 spending money
29. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two adults sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. Twin rooms
can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
30. Massage will last 60 minutes and is subject to availability and change at
the time of booking. Some treatments may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions and will be substituted for a safe alternative should this be the case.
Option 4 - Southampton
a. Return South Western Train travel for two people to Southampton
b. Return private transfers from the station to the hotel
c. 2 nights accommodation at the 4 star Southampton Harbour hotel & spa
d. Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant
e. Drinks on the roof top bar for two people
31. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two adults sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. Twin rooms
can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
32. Drinks on the rooftop bar for two people includes 2 drinks per person.
Winner and guest must be over the age of 18 to consume alcohol, photo ID may be required. Reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
33. Option 5 - Portsmouth
a. Return South Western Train travel for two people to Portsmouth
b. Return private transfers from the station to the hotel
c. 2 nights accommodation at the 4 star Stattons Hotel
d. Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant
e. Dinner for two people at Restaurant 27
f. £50.00 spending money
34. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two adults sharing a double room with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. Twin rooms
can be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
35. Dinner is based on two adults enjoying an 8 course meal from the set
menu including 1⁄2 bottle of house wine per person, mineral water and coffee. Restaurant reservations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
36. Travel will be by train, must be off peak and booked a minimum of 6 weeks in advance. The Southwest train service will be used where possible.
37. Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers.
38. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter and Bank Holidays.
39. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.
40. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.
