The Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Conductor Laureate, Neeme Jarvi, celebrates his 75th birthday this Thursday – and John Suchet raises a glass to him all week by featuring his new recording as our CD of the Week.
It includes all sorts of Saint-Saens orchestral favourites, including Danse Macabre and the Bacchanale from the opera Samson and Delilah.
