The Full Works Concert - Monday 18 March 2013: Concert Hall Favourites

Last year, the choir Tenebrae joined forces with members of the London Symphony Orchestra to release a beautiful recording of the Fauré Requiem. Hear it tonight on the Full Works concert with Jane Jones from 8pm

As well as the full recording of the choir Tenebrae and members of the London Symphony Orchestra playing Faure Requiem we will hear Stephen Hough’s brilliant performance of the complete Piano Concerto No.1 by Tchaikovsky.  Plus – Beethoven’s Symphony No.1 and, to get things started, Franz Lehar’s Overture to The Merry Widow.
