Howard Goodall plays the greatest moments from Howard Shore's 'Lord of the Rings' score, chosen by you.

To mark the 60th anniversary of the first publication of The Lord of the Rings, Howard Goodall is devoting an hour of music on Saturday Night at the Movies to Peter Jackson's big-screen adaptation of J.R.R Tolkien's timeless trilogy.

In his show, Howard will include some of the best-loved parts of Howard Shore's monumental score, chosen by you. 

And in the first hour Howard is celebrating some major players from the world of cinema who were all born on this day: Stanley Kubrick, Sandra Bullock, Kevin Spacey and Helen Mirren.
