Heroes and fairy tales on the silver screen

Howard Goodall explores two themes suggested by listeners. Saturday Night at the Movies, 25 October 2014, 5pm.

Howard Goodall is marking the start of Classic FM’s Arts and Kids Week with not one but two fitting show themes, suggested by listeners.

Firstly, Ian in Edinburgh’s asked Howard to come up with a show about heroes, following on from his recent exploration into music for movie villains. So get ready for Superman and Spiderman, as well as new scores from Fury (pictured), starring Brad Pitt, and The Imitation Game in which Benedict Cumberbatch plays World War II codebreaker Alan Turing.

David in Scunthorpe has also asked Howard to focus on fairy tales in film.
