Saturday Night at the Movies - Saturday 5 December 2015, 5pm

Andrew Collins celebrates video game music this evening, as he looks back at some of the most influential and talked-about soundtracks of 2015.

While tonight's show will be a must-listen for all fans of video games, you don’t need to be familiar with Fallout 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops III or Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (pictured) to enjoy Andrew's selection of emotional and dramatic music by exciting contemporary composers.

For example, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture tells the story of the inhabitants of a remote English valley who are caught up in world-shattering events beyond their control or understanding. The stunning music, which made it into the Classic FM Chart this autumn, is by Jessica Curry, a BAFTA nominated composer and joint Studio Head at The Chinese Room, an award-winning game development studio based in Brighton.
