In this week's show, John Brunning presented the world premiere of Karl Jenkins' new album, Adiemus Colores - and the crew of the USS Enterprise failed to hold the top spot.
This week's show, John Brunning presented the first ever radio play of Karl Jenkins' new album 'Adiemus Colores', ahead of its release on 5 July. 'The Armed Man' composer's new work is inspired by the colours, sights and sounds of Latin America.
'A South American spark that helped kindle the flame that became Adiemus Colores is the fascination that the people of Wales, myself included, have with the romance of Patagonia,' says the composer, 'that area occupying the southernmost tip of Argentina where there is a Welsh-speaking settlement, dating from 1865.'
