David Mellor marks the Verdi bicentenary with three new recordings of the composer's music.

This week, David Mellor marks the bicentenary of the birth of Giuseppe Verdi with three new recordings of the great composer’s music.  

We’ll be hearing from tenor Jonas Kaufmann, soprano Anna Netrebko, and the Orchestra and Chorus of the National Academy of St. Cecilia conducted by Antonio Pappano.  

David also champions two outstanding recordings from a young French conductor.
