A stellar cast performing Verdi's Requiem is David Mellor's Album of the Week.

David Mellor's Album of the Week is a new recording of Verdi’s Requiem, performed by the Orchestra and Chorus of La Scala, Milan, conducted by Daniel Barenboim.

Recorded live, it's the first recording by Barenboim in his role as La Scala’s Music Director.

Among the line-up of superstar soloists is tenor Jonas Kaufmann who also makes another appearance this evening as David's Connoisseur’s Choice.
