Every Saturday night at 9pm-10pm, David Mellor reviews all the latest classical music releases.
This week David featured more from Classic FM's Album of the Weekend - the debut release from clarinettist Andreas Ottensammer. And he also delved a little deeper into the music of Rodrigo.
Reviewing the latest releases and re-releases, David Mellor this week particularly focused on the debut CD from the brilliant clarinet player Andreas Ottensammer. David also found that there's much more to the music of Rodrigo than the familiar guitar works. And David's best bargain came from the brilliant Yo-Yo Ma playing masterworks by Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak and many more - all on 8 CDs.
