We've another packed programme of classics from this year's Hall Of Fame.
The brilliantly spicy Danzon No.2 by Arturo Marquez rocketed up this year’s Classic FM Hall of Fame, climbing an astonishing 185 places. We’ll hear it tonight, along with a piece of music that soared to its best ever position this year: Spem in Alium by Thomas Tallis. That’s not all, though. We’ll also enjoy the complete Enigma Variations by Elgar and the whole of Schubert’s Symphony No.9 (‘Great’).
