The Full Works Concert - Friday 7 December 2012: Autumn Releases

The French violinist Renaud Capucon has just released an absolutely beautiful recording of the Brahms Violin Concerto, with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Daniel Harding.

We’ll hear the piece in full tonight, as our week-long series of the best of the autumn releases draws to a close.  Also tonight: a chance to discover a piano concerto by a friend of Beethoven’s, which is well worth a listen.
