The Full Works Concert - Wednesday 21 November 2012: Holst

On tonight’s Full Works Concert, Jane Jones celebrates the life and the music of Holst.

We’ll hear a fantastic recent recording of The Planets from the London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the St. Paul’s Suite, Egdon Heath and the beautiful Invocation, performed by cellist Julian Lloyd-Webber.  Plus – a chance to enjoy Holst’s rarely-performed Symphony in F major, subtitled ‘The Cotswolds’.
