To mark William Shakespeare's 450th anniversary celebrations, David Mellor dedicates this show to classical music inspired by the Bard and his many works. 

From Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet to Walton’s Henry V Suite, David explores just why Shakespeare’s' plays have enthused and delighted composers throughout history, including two composers who were clearly obsessed with the Bard - Verdi and Berlioz.
