David Mellor - Sunday 25 October 2015, 7pm

David luxuriates in the music of Naples with Juan Diego Flórez.

Juan-Diego Flórez (pictured) is one of today’s leading tenors, hailed by some as the natural successor to Luciano Pavarotti. Flórez has recently been following in the footsteps of many great tenors before him by releasing an album of popular Neapolitan songs. David plays some tracks from it tonight.

Also tonight, David will be continuing the 60th birthday celebrations for the great American cellist Yo-Yo Ma, as well as shining the spotlight on the under-appreciated French composer Francis Poulenc.
