Accordion maestro Martynas swings into the Classic FM Chart with this week's highest new entry.
In this week's Classic FM Chart, Lithuanian accordionist Martynas has the highest new entry with his eponymously-titled debut CD which features arrangements of Vivaldi, Verdi and Lady Gaga!
There are also two fascinating new entries from the adventurous ECM label: English tenor John Potter's Dowland Project returns with the album 'Night Sessions', drawing upon different musical traditions including early music and improvisation; and 'Melodic Warrior' sees electric guitarist Terje Rypdal teaming up with the Hilliard Ensemble as they sing texts drawn from Native American poetry.
