Winter is on its way, as our highest new entry this week reminds us.
Voces8's new release is no ordinary seasonal offering. It paints a sparse portrait of winter with its selection of meditative tracks, inspiring feelings of solitude and union. The album is this week's highest new entry in the Classic FM Chart, bringing into the Top 5 significant new arrangements of For Now I Am Winter by Broadchurch composer Olafur Arnalds and the folk tune The Snow It Melts The Soonest (previously covered by Sting).
Elsewhere in the Chart, the impending season is well under way with a new entry for Bach's Christmas Oratorio, and half-term Marvel psychadelia is the order of the day as Dr Strange enters the Chart, with music by Michael Giacchino.
