On this week's Culture Club, Anne-Marie Minhall's guests include the author Jeffrey Archer, whose books have sold at least 250 million copies worldwide.
He talks about his latest book Mightier Than The Sword, the fifth novel in his Clifton Chronicles series – a multi-generational, multi-volume saga of fate, fortune, and redemption that follows the Clifton and Barrington families from 1920 through to the present.
And Anne-Marie also talks to the legendary pianist Alfred Brendel, pictured with her below. He retired from the concert platform in 2008 but continues to appear as a speaker, talking about music and the art of performance. Anne-Marie chats with him about how he felt giving his farewell concert in Vienna back in 2008, his passion for music, nonsense poetry and why he thinks young pianists should look to singers and conductors for inspiration.
