Sarah Millican on comedy and classical music

The comedian from South Shields is a self-confessed classical music fan.

Comedian Sarah Millican talks to Charlotte Green about comedy, life on the road and Sarah's favourite classical music which inspires her when she is writing.

Rarely off the television these days, it's hard to believe that Sarah has only been part of the comedy scene for five years, after winning the if.comedy award for Best Newcomer at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In February this year she was included in a list of the 100 most powerful women in the UK.

A self-confessed fan of Classic FM, Sarah finds it calms her down when driving and is the perfect accompaniment in the kitchen.
