Classic FM's weekday morning show host talks to Charlotte about his new book, The Last Waltz.
On this week's Culture Club, Charlotte spoke to John Suchet about his new book, telling the intriguing story of two generations of the Strauss family of Vienna that produced some of the best known and best loved music of the nineteenth century.
The two Waltz Kings, along with the rest of the family, composed literally hundreds of instantly recognisable and enduring melodies, including The Blue Danube Waltz, Tales from the Vienna Woods and Voices of Spring.
And as John Suchet tells Charlotte, he's wanted to tell this story since he first visited Vienna as 17-year old schoolboy.
