Orchestra of Opera North vote in the Classic FM Hall of Fame 2012

We've been talking to some of the world's finest orchestras to find out which pieces they'll be voting for in this year's Hall of Fame, and in this video we hear one of the votes from the Orchestra of Opera North.

The acclaimed Leeds-based orchestra is consistently praised both as an opera and concert orchestra, and always strives to engage new audiences in the arts. With an exciting season ahead including a new production of Norma starring Dutch soprano Annemarie Kremer, this looks to be another great 12 months for Opera North.

We caught up with Dougie Scarfe, Chorus & Orchestral Director & Concerts Director of Opera North, who told us about one of the pieces the orchestra will be voting for in the Hall of Fame this year.
