Phone and bid for the chance to win a brand new digital Yamaha Piano, the CSP – 150

Classic FM has teamed up with Yamaha Music UK and are giving listeners the chance to bid on a brand new Clavinova CSP-150 Yamaha piano in black.

The CSP concept is simple: create a new class of digital piano for the modern musician. Characterised by explosive musical power and unprecedented flexibility, CSP is truly an instrument for the smart era – offering unique features and a new level of control. When combined with the CSP’s companion app: “Smart Pianist”, this new series of instruments becomes the gateway to anyone’s musical potential.

We are all using smart phones or tablets to communicate and create. The CSP is incredibly easy to use it gives access to thousands of sounds, backing bands, more intelligent and dynamic and expressive than ever before. All the sounds can be adjusted to match your style. For example the Piano Room feature even allows you to digitally adjust the piano lid height!

The app also boasts interactive scores for over 300 accredited piano exercises plus a vast range of popular scores while uniquely working with your own music. It can access your personal music collection and create chord charts, piano scores bringing to closer to your music through your own performance.

Smart Pianist also features a stream light function which dramatically aids the learning process with lights illuminating the notes to play.

Research has shown that there is a huge number of people of all ages that want to learn to play the piano but haven't started because they don't have time for lessons or they think learning is too hard. The Yamaha CSP eliminates these boundaries and opens up new and enjoyable creative horizons for these currently disengaged potential learners and new pianists.
