Four Seasons Opus 8 - Concerto No.2 (Summer) Antonio Vivaldi
Tune In - Year of Music was officially launched with a unique performance of the Adagio - Summer from Vivaldi’s, Four Seasons, in G Minor.
The groundbreaking performance involved over 50 members of the South West Camerata orchestra, who played alongside a team of digital musicians.
The piece was masterfully reworked by world-renowned music producer and Killing Joke founder Jaz Coleman.
The aim of the South West Camerata is to provide musical opportunities for all, regardless of background and to encourage each and every player to achieve their full potential.
The National Year of Music is part of the Government’s ongoing commitment to providing access to quality music opportunities for young people, through the National Curriculum and successful programmes including Sing Up, In Harmony and the Music Manifesto.
