A classical cover of Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' has surfaced on the internet after two musicians made a video of themselves performing it on the subway in Boston.

Boston commuters were treated to a very different busking experience when two violinists performed a classical-inspired version of Taylor Swift's hit 'I Knew You Were Trouble'. The video of the performance, which was posted on YouTube, has now amassed over 125,000 views.

The violinists, Rhett Price and Josh Knowles, have performed at a variety of subways stops on Boston's Red Line. The duo told Fox 25 that they've been arranging pop songs for the violin since last year.

But it's only in recent months that the two musicians have been performing underground.

The Taylor Swift original also inspired the phenomenally popular 'Goat Edition' meme from earlier this year, which also received its very own classical version.
