Prehistoric structure sounds like whistles and bells when hit, study says
Classic guitar legend John Williams talks to Classic FM's John Brunning about his forthcoming charity concert with Craig Ogden, his favourite guitars and his future recording plans.
The great John Williams chats to Classic FM's John Brunning in a revealing interview about his forthcoming charity concert with Craig Ogden and a whole host of other performers. They discuss the various world music styles and interesting performances coming up in the North London concert, and the work of MAE Foundation which it is supporting.
Williams also finds time to enthuse about his favourite guitars and his plans to record a work by Stephen Goss, his guitar concerto. He has some choice words to say about composers of guitar music: "The problem, to be brutally frank about it, is that a lot of the guitar composers are not that original or interesting."
The concert is being held on Thursday 20th September at 7:30pm in St. John's Parish Church, Hampstead, London.
