Dohnányi’s Serenade for String Trio is one of the trickest pieces ever written for string trio, so obviously what you really want to happen part-way through is a major bowing mishap.
But when Kian Soltani literally hurled his bow across the stage during this performance, rather than curl into an embarrassed ball (as we probably would have done), he styled it out and recovered like a pro.
