The World's Greatest Music
Beares has put 47 string instruments up for auction, (the first of its kind to have an eBay-style 'buy now' function) and we're wishing we had a spare $3.5m. Bidding closes on 28 October.

Decisions, decisions... Simon Morris said: "Musicians can't afford these things. The reality is an awful lot of them have patrons. The Beares International Violin Society aims to bring musicians and patrons together, in a symbiotic relationship." Photo: Benjamin Ealovega
