Let's enjoy that Monty Python sketch where they blow up the orchestra to the Blue Danube

And now for something completely different...Of all Monty Python's forays into classical music, the exploding orchestra is the funniest.
Classical music was often the target of the surreal antics of Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
Remember John Cleese playing Beethoven, desperately trying to compose his Fifth Symphony while Mrs. Beethoven hoovered around him? And what about the Farming Club special on the life of Tchaikovsky, featuring Sviatoslav Richter playing the Piano Concerto from inside a sack, and a composer action figure with detachable legs?
But the funniest of all came in Episode 26.
The script simply read: Cut to an orchestra in a field playing The Blue Danube. On each musical phrase, a member of the orchestra explodes. Fade to pitch darkness.
