Rules for the Sky competition on Classic FM.

The following rules ("Rules") together with GCap Media plc's ("GCap Media") general and competition terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") (which can be found at Classicfm.com) apply to Sky ‘Hall Of Heroes’ on Classic FM radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Wednesday 23rd April 2008 to Friday 2nd May 2008. The "Participating Radio Station" is Classic FM. By entering this Competition, anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and to be bound by them. 1. Details of the Competition . 1.1 For the Duration of the Competition, listeners to the Participating Radio Station will be invited to enter the Competition, from Monday 27th April to Friday 2nd May 2008, by registering to win on a dedicated phone line. 1.2 To enter the Competition an Entrant must call and register their details. Entrants can register their details and opt in to receiving more data from Sky. 1.3 One entrant will be selected randomly every day to play Hall of Heroes. A series of Heroes names will be played (a different selection each day: Hollywood, Historical, Sporting, English Acting and Music & Arts Heroes) and the listener will choose one name. A question will be asked to the caller and an A, B or C mechanic will be used. 1.4 If the caller fails to answer the question correctly they will not win the prize. 1.5 The randomly selected entrant will need to answer their phone between 10am-12am. If they fail to do so Classic FM will randomly select another caller. 1.6 Entrants will be picked by random online and via the phone entries. One phone entry will be picked per day for 5 days. 1.7 All matters relating to the selection at random of Entrants and all other matters relating to the Competition will be at the discretion of GCap Media and the Participating Radio Station. 1.8 All calls to the Telephone Line will be charged at a rate of 4p a minute. Calls from mobiles and some fixed lines may vary. Please consult your service provider if in doubt. 2. Eligibility 2.1 Any person using a telephone which is not his or her own should ask for the permission of the owner of the telephone before sending an SMS text message to the Text Message Line or calling the Telephone Line. 2.2 Any employees of GCap Media, their immediate family or any other persons directly connected with the Competition are unable to enter into the competition. 2.3 The Competition is open to residents of the UK and Northern Ireland only. 2.4 Notwithstanding that a winner has been declared, if GCap Media discovers before the delivery of a prize that for any reason under these Rules or Terms and Conditions the winner should have been ineligible to enter the Competition or the entry should have been declared invalid, GCap Media reserves the right to determine that the winner is disqualified. 2.5 There is no limit on the number of text messages that can be sent to the Text Message Line or calls to the Telephone Line, but Entrants are referred to the costs of text messages and telephone calls in 1.6 and 1.7 above. 2.6 GCap Media and the Participating Radio Stations shall not be responsible for any failure on behalf of an Entrant whose text message or telephone call are not received by GCap Media or the Participating Radio Station. 2.7 An Entrant must participate in the Competition himself or herself. In the event that a party other than the Entrant attempts to enter the Competition on behalf of that Entrant (whether disclosed or not), that entry will be forfeited and no Prize will be delivered. 3. Prize 3.1 All decisions of the GCap Media and Participating Radio Stations’ representatives will be final and binding on the Entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. 3.2 Daily Prize (Monday to Friday - 5 packages in total) consist of - o One (1) x SONY 40” LCD HD TV o One (1) x Sky HD subscription for 12 months, including Sky HD and Sky’s top entertainment package (Sky World), a minidish and standard installation • There is no cash alternative to any of the Prizes (or any part of them). • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. • If you are a winner you will be required to sign three subscription contracts (Sky digital, Sky+ and Sky HD subscription contracts). After your 12 months viewing included in your prize, standard subscription charges will apply unless you change your package. You will pay the prevailing price for Sky World (currently £45.00 per month) and a Sky HD subscription (currently £10 a month). Other Sky digital packages available and Sky+ subscription (required for Sky+ Personal Video Recorder functionality) is free. Prices, programmes and channels subject to change and Sky digital packages may change in accordance with the subscription contracts. You must be over 18 and resident in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man. You will need Sky HD professionally installed even if you already have a minidish. Extra costs may apply for non-standard installation. Installation may be subject to delay. You must keep your Sky HD box connected to a fixed and operational telephone line for at least 12 months. If you need a minidish you are responsible for obtaining all consents required e.g. landlord’s consent, before installation. Sky Box Office Movies, Stand-alone Premium Channels and pay-per-view services and events are not included in the prize and must be paid for separately. Multiroom is not included in the prize. Sky will contact the winner to arrange installation of the winner’s prize. Installation is subject to availability of the winner. Winners must redeem their prize within one year, failure to process your installation application within this time period could result in loss of prize. Sky shall not be responsible for late delivery caused by the winner or the delay by third parties. Sky may refuse entry or withdraw the prize if you or anyone you authorise to deal with your entry acts in a way towards staff of Sky or the Promoter which Sky reasonably considers to be inappropriate.
