Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra vote in the Classic FM Hall of Fame

We've been talking to some of the world's finest orchestras to find out which piece they'll be nominating in this year's Hall of Fame. In this video we hear from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.

Classic FM's Orchestra in the North West is the oldest surviving professional symphony orchestra in the UK, and they have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Classic FM since 2001. Just last year the RLPO were the guest orchestra at Classic FM Live at the Royal Albert Hall in London, accompanying the likes of Benjamin Grosvenor, Charlie Siem and Noah Stewart.

We caught up with Chris Morley, horn player of the RLPO, at the Association of British Orchestra's conference in Liverpool to get the orchestra's vote in the Classic FM Hall of Fame. In this video, Chris nominates a classic piece particularly beloved of horn players.

Find out which piece the orchestra nominated below, and click here to cast your own vote in the world's largest classical music poll.
